Timothy J. Stephens, SJVocation Coordinator for

Rev. Timothy J. Stephens, SJ holds an A.B. in economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and an M.A. in economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He entered the Jesuit Novitiate of St. Isaac Jogues in Wernersville, PA in 1989 and completed his First Studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Regency brought Fr. Stephens back east to Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, where he taught English and Religion. He then pursued Theology studies at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, MA and was ordained to the priesthood in 1999. After ordination, he worked as an associate pastor at St. Peter's Church in Charlotte, NC and as a retreat director at Loyola Retreat House in Faulkner, MD, where he eventually took over directorship duties in 2001. Fr. Stephens made his Tertianship during the summers of 2006 and 2007, which included time in Micronesia for his Tertianship experiment. He currently teaches AP economics to seniors and ethics to juniors back at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC.
