Dear
Friends of the Maryland, New
England & New York Vocations Offices,
The Vocation Office of the Maryland and New York Provinces welcomes
our new Director of Vocations, Fr.
Charles Frederico, SJ, and
extends a sincere thank-you to Br.
Christopher Derby, SJ for his outstanding performance
as vocation director during the
past five years.
We are very blessed to announce the acceptance of three men
for the Maryland Province into St. Andrew Hall, the tri-province
novitiate in Syracuse, NY. (See

With great joy and gratitude to God, we are pleased to
announce the ordination to the priesthood of four Jesuits from
the Maryland, New England and New York Provinces. (See

In conjunction with the ordinations at Loyola College in Baltimore,
twelve men attended the Ordination "Come
and See" Weekend on June 12-14. During
the weekend, associates were treated to two presentations:
one on Jesuit priesthood and the other on the liturgy of ordination.
(Listen to the podcasts below.)
Our second-year novices have been on long experiment
since January. Two novices, John
Peck and Travis Stoops, offer
reflections on their experiences during long experiment. (Read

We thank you for your continued support in the
