As I prepared to meet my first spiritual director more than ten years ago, I was hoping that there was truth in advertising. I wanted direction. Specifically, I wanted this Jesuit to divine whether God was asking me to become a Jesuit or to continue teaching high school religion as a layperson. Fr. Greg Boyle Accepts 2011 Pedro Arrupe Award
The University of Scranton presented its annual "Pedro Arrupe, SJ, Award for Distinguished Contributions to Ignatian Mission and Ministries" to Rev. Gregory Boyle, S.J., founder and chief executive officer of Homeboy Industries, during a ceremony April 2011.
