James, 25, earned an B.A. in government from Harvard College. A volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in 2008 and 2009, he worked with youth assisting in job training through a corporate work-study program in Harlem at Cristo Rey high School. In Portland, Oregon he managed an evening hospitality center for the homeless called Operation Nightwatch Portland. James worked at St. Ignatius Loyola Academy in Baltimore during this long experiment. In the fall, he will begin First Studies at Fordham University as member of the Ciszek Hall Community. (NEN)

Grodecki

Chris, 28, is a staff writer at the Institute for Justice, a
non-profit public interest law firm. Originally from Winnetka, IL,
a suburb of Chicago, Chris attended Georgetown University, where he received
a B.A. in English and German and an M.A. in German. He
has worked as a research assistant at Georgetown and was an organizing
member of St. Matthew's Cathedral young adult leadership program. During his long experiment, Chris taught religion at Washington Jesuit Academy, a Nativity middle school in Washington, D.C. He will begin First Studies in the fall at Loyola University Chicago. (MAR)

Andrew
Otto
Framingham, MA
Andy, 26, holds a B.A. in communication with a minor in psychology from Curry College. His work experience has been with Disney World in Florida, CBS-TV (WBZ in Boston), and most recently in client management (concierge) at Circles. He has volunteered taking pledges for PBS Television and Radio, in various homeless ministries in the Boston area, and as a Eucharistic minister and lector at St. Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill. Andy spent his long experiment in the Clinical Pastoral Education program at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. In the fall, he will join the Ciszek Hall Community and begin First Studies at Fordham University. (NEN)

Marco
Rodriguez
Cambridge, MA
Marco, 48, earned a B.A. in Spanish from Texas Tech University in 1985 and later studied plant biology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has worked as an academic and immigration advisor to international students in the U.S. at Berklee College of Music. His volunteer experiences include the Peace Corps in Jamaica for two years after college, tutoring at Boston Partners in Education, and more recently as a pastoral care volunteer at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. During his long experiment, Marco worked in the infirmary and the spirituality center Campion Center. He will move to Loyola University Chicago in the fall to begin First Studies. (NEN) |

Z. Rosinski
Philadelphia, PA
Adam, 26, is a 2007 graduate of Scranton University with a double
B.A. in theology/religious studies and counseling/human services. He
was born and raised in Wyncote, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, and attended
Bishop McDevitt High School. Prior to entering the novitiate Adam
taught theology at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown,
PA, worked in the youth ministry program at his home
parish and as a ministry student assistant at the University of Scranton.
Adam spent his long experiment working at St. Raphael Church, a Jesuit parish in Raleigh, North Carolina. In the fall, he will begin First Studies at Loyola University Chicago. (MAR) |
